Privacy policy
This page explains what information the gingaloam site (gingaloam.com) handles. For each product, see that product’s own privacy policy.
What this site collects
The pages of this site do not use cookies. Unless you contact us, the site operator does not receive information such as your name or email address.
Hosting
This site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. To deliver pages, Cloudflare processes connection information such as your IP address, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Analytics
To learn which pages are read and how often, this site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics.
- It does not use cookies or localStorage.
- It collects the page URL, referrer, country, device type, browser, operating system, and page performance metrics.
- The data is aggregated on Cloudflare’s service, and the site operator can see the last six months of it.
The site works the same if you block the analytics, for example with an ad blocker.
What happens to the email you send
If you write to us, we receive what your email contains: your name, your address, and the message.
- It is used to answer you, and to keep the record that answering needs. Nothing else, and it is not passed to anyone else.
- The email is forwarded and kept by outside services. Both the company that forwards it and the company that provides the mailbox are incorporated in the United States. Neither publishes where its servers stand, so the country they are in cannot be identified. Replies are sent through systems located in Japan (Tokyo).
- Having looked at the data protection regimes that apply, connections are encrypted end to end, the accounts involved have two-factor authentication, and the information handled is kept to what answering your enquiry needs.
- It is deleted once your enquiry has been answered and there is no longer a reason to keep it.
